At the beginning of September, together with our Development Department, we conducted a Gemba Walk in the Density Monitor production Area – with the goal of observing processes directly on site, identifying improvement potentials, and developing solutions together.

Just three weeks later, on September 24th, we were able to celebrate the first tangible success: the handover of a new fixture for pressing the bellows! Design and production have worked closely together over the past few days and, after several iterations, created a practical solution that truly delivers.

The new fixture not only improves process time but also makes handling much easier for our employees. A great example of how real improvements can be achieved through collaboration and mutual understanding between development and production.

That’s how it should be: development and production hand in hand – we´re excited to see which further innovative solutions will emerge from the insights gained during the Gemba Walk in the coming weeks.
